About Learning Tree Farms
Learning Tree Farms ("The Farm") was established in 1998 as a place for children and learning. Situated on the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Northern Virginia county of Fauquier, the Farm is a magical place of rolling hills and forests teeming with wildlife. Its magic comes from the children who visit there to learn and have fun.
A variety of Free One Day Field Trips are available throughout the school year for Public, Private or Home School students in groups of up to 48 students per day (grades 4th - 11th). All of the field trip programs provide your students with hands-on learning experiences outside, combined with in-class use of computers in our state of the art multimedia learning center. All students will create and publish a 2-page newsletter including digital pictures from their activities at the farm.
