LEARNING TREE INTRODUCES MANAGEMENT SKILLS ASSESSMENT TOOL
RESTON, VA (June 26, 2008) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) has announced the introduction of a Management Skills Assessment Tool designed to identify skills gaps within the management of an organization. The tool is powered by Avilar, a provider of web-based competency management and eLearning solutions for corporate, government and academic sectors.
The Management Skills Assessment Tool is comprised of a Web-based survey that is completed by the organization’s employees, after which the surveys are assessed and compiled into a report that intends to identify the skills gaps and developmental needs of both individuals and the organization as a whole.
Organizations employing the Management Skills Assessment tool will have the opportunity to:
- Identify management skills gaps that diminish overall potential and productivity
- Use the findings as a base from which to plan and prioritize training and development plans
- Assess information that is direct, easily understood and actionable
The Management Skills Assessment Tool addresses the roles of business analysts, project managers, dual managers (projects and people), software development project managers, people managers and individual project members. It is valuable for individuals, Human Resources departments and senior management.
